Orgy is a quintet consisting of Jay Gordon (vocals), Amir Derakh (Synth guitars), Paige Healy (Bass), Ryan Shuck (guitars), and Bobby Hewitt (Drums). As of October 30th, 2002, Orgy's Bobby Hewitt left the band to join Snake River Conspiricy. A new drummer has yet to be named. They have 2 albums, Candyass (1998) and Vapor Transmission (2000). Their most famous song to date is, unfortunately, not even their own. It is a cover song of "Blue Monday" by the 80's band New Order. I do love the song anyway, and that is how I first got into Orgy when they first came onto the rock scene back in 1998. I have been in love with Orgy ever since.

In 2000 I had the priviledge of meeting the band in person after a show they performed in Portland, Maine. Doug and his cousin Matt were with me as well as Sarah. Jay Gordon didn't hang around after the show because of an apparent food poisoning. I got to talk with all other the members of the band and get autographs. (I wish Jay was there though!) Ryan Shuck even gave Sarah a hug. They were a great bunch of guys. I felt like I was in some kinda dream world meeting them after worshiping them for so long. It's like meeting God practically. *LOL*

In any sense, the name is ORGYDAVE. On AOL IM it's ORGYDAVE oPtIcOn. They are both songs on the Vapor Transmission album.
